troubleshoot philips 27pt6441/37

I have a philips 27 in tv ( about a year and a half old ) model # 27pt6441/37 and when i turned it on this morning i noticed that there were colorful lines at the very top of the screen that went away abot 2-3 min after being on - what could be the cause ? is it going out ?? Help !!!
