Heyall...........
I have a Samsung tv..older about 10 years old.
There has begun a terrible crackling, static-y sound accompanied by fuzzy picture. It is has been discerned that it is not a cable related problem.............
When the tv is turned off, and turned back on, everything is normal and the sound and picture is perfect. Within 5 minutes, the problem is back.
I have tried everything from changing elec. outlets, to tweaking settings...nothing works........ I fear a componet is blowing.............but...
...all attempts at helping here would be sincerely appreciated........Many thanks....Pat
A model number would be nice my freind, but to guess, I would say it sounds like the tuner in this TV set is going bad, and on a set with this kind of years on it, would not be worth fixing. Good Luck.
