Hi
I have designed a lamp for my a level product, in it is a circuit controlled using a PIC.
I have the PIC and 12 * 10mm blue LED's running off a 6v battery pack. I then have one output pin connected to a MOSFET.
From the MOSFET i have a 12v supply running two 52mm white LED clusters, which are supposed to run on 12v apparently!!!
The problem i'm having is, the MOSFET is constantly on, regardless of the program i use, so the white LED's are always on, and i cannot change that whatsoever!!!
I also wanted to fit varible resistors before my clusters to change the brightness if needed, but apparently spike can affect the MOSFET, is there a a way round this?!!
I have just joined this website and don't know if this is what i am supposed to write about but i need help as soon as possible! any help from anyone would be great, i can probably send you a circuit diagram if needed!
Thanks
Rob
