Will your next cell phone be a smartphone or PDA?

Cell phones have changed a lot in the past year. Thin, regular cell phones like the Motorola RAZR, with cameras and music players were the envy of most, but now smartphones sporting PDA functionality are quickly taking over.

Will your next cell phone be a smartphone or PDA, or are regular cell phones good enough for you?

I love my blackberry, but

I love my blackberry, but unfortunatley I have to use Nextel for work. Nextel has not updated their Blackebrries for some time. Rumor has it they will, once the Srint conversion is all done. Sometime by years end.

But, back to your question. Using a little bit older Blackberry is fine for me. I use my phone for boring work related stuff only and it has everything I need. Text, internet, TeleNav, 411, pdf and Picture viewer, calendar and a great contact interface.

I don't need videos, fancy ringtones, music player, etc.

I guess, in my situation,a phone should be a tool, not a toy. I have plenty of those. :)
