I have a 4 year old rear projection monitor. While watching a DVD the picture went black and then displayed swirling multi colored lines down the center of the screen. I did get a blinking power light once then turned off the set, unpluged it with no improvemnent. I understanding it may be a high voltage regulator. How much schouldI expect to pay an authorized Panasonic show to repiar the problem? Thanks.
What is on the screen now, And the lines are they vertical(side to side0 or horizontal(top to bottom)?
The colored band is in the center of the screen about 6 inches wide and go from top to bottom of the screen.
Can you please send a picture to [email protected]? thanks

it could be the regulator but also could be he convergence IC's depending on how many times he light flashe now after the set was unplugged and replugged. if it is a high voltage or convergence repair your looking to spend at least 350.00 to 450.00 for parts and labor, but this is of course only an educated guess. Good luck.
Hi how i can buy the regulator and the convergence IC's depending ?
