So, I have this rptv (Magnovox 7P6033 W101), and it has a problem where all darker colors (black, blue) seem to have this orange tinge to them, and anything close to orange is extra, almost glowing, orange. Oddly, white stuff looks white. I have tried every option in the menu to adjust colors, tints, skin correction, etc., to no avail.
Another less obnoxious problem is these weird horizontal curved lines, also orange, that cut across the screen in almost a woodgrain pattern.
Has anyone here heard of or experienced these symptoms? Is it related to the CRT fluid I've read so much about? Is it something average joe could fix?

solution was simple. take off the back panel, slide out another panel that seperates the electronics from the compartment containing the lenses and mirror. Then turn the red down using a little adjustment knob.
