I really hope someone out there can help me! I am trying to use a digital optical cable between my xbox 360 and my rca rt2390 reciever. When I plug the cable in and change the mode from anolog to digital my surrond does not work only the front right and the front left speakers work. or I can change it to 3 stereo and all three front speakers work. How can I get my surrond sound to work with digital input. Please Help.
Check the audio setup in the XBOX 360 menu, you'll find it in the system setup area on the dashboard. Check your digital audio settings, and make sure you've specified how the 360 should output digtial audio.
