I have a Fisher Stereo with A and B sound systems. The B side right speaker jack sparks when you try to hook it up. I've checked to make sure nothing inside is touching, and have no idea what, other then a power wire touching, could cause this.

One of the output devices are shorted from the b+ to the output leads of the output device. It is an internal short inside of an IC or transistor. Not alot you can do unless you have a multimeter and a schematic diagram to trace out where the short is. Now days these units are not worth repairing as a shop would charge you close if not more to repair this then for what you could most likely purchace a brand new shiny one for. Good Luck and let us know if you get this repaired.
thanks for the info. Any idea where I can get a schematic diagram, I've got the multimeter?
