I have a Koss ks9150 digital home video and audio entertainment system. I have great audio levels on everything except when I'm listening to tv. The volume is maxed out and I cant even hear the tv when I am on the treadmill. Everything else is very loud, what is the problem? I tried AV 1 and AV 2 and it does not matter its all the same low volume level.
Thanks Kris
In order to help answer your question, I'll need to know a bit more about how you get TV, and how you have it connected to your system.
Do you use the TV's internal tuner, or do you have an external cable/sat box?
Can you give some info about how you have your TV source connected to the system?
Some cable boxes have their own volume control independent of your other devices. If this is a Motorola cable box, you'll find an option in the setup menu for "optimal stereo", which will optimize the volume output for control by another device. If it's another make, look in the menu for a similar option, or for volume up/down keys right on the face of the unit.
Hi Matt, I also have a question. I recentlybought a Samsung Htq45 home theatre system. I would like to hook this up to my Pioneer Plasma, and my goal is to be able to use the surround speakers at times, but at other times only use the tv speakers. Is this possible?
