I have a Mitsubishi VS-50501A Projection Television that had the Green tube start to send just thin green lines toward the top of the screen a while back.
Anyway, what I did was put a paper towel over the green tube so that the lines are gone but the color now stinks!
My family has somewhat adjusted to watching football on grey fields but I'm really not enjoying watching golf quite as much!
It has been a very good TV (Bought it new in 1995 or so) and hate to think that I just have to trash it but if it is going to cost me $500 to fix it that just isn't going to happen...
Let me know what y'all think and I'll go from there with whether to get a technician out here or save my $50 trip cost.
