Hey, I'm kind of new to these technology stuff. I own a sony KP57WS510 television, the convergence automatically on my tv don't work, i have a FLASH FOCUS key on my remote, when I press it, it's supposely automatically adjust itself, but mines doesn't work? it's outta shape, the crosshair doesn't match together, and useing the arrow keys on the remote doesn't help. .. can anyone help me with this? It sounds like the STK type convergence IC's went out on this TV set. Very common problem for a sst this age. The IC's both have to be replaced at one time. if you have any solid state repair experience, you can get the iC's and the service manual from Sony. if you do not have any solid state repair experience, play it safe and call in a pro to assist you in this reapar. it should run you, depending where you are, about 275 to 500 bucks.
