ac delco stereo LOC

Hello I own a 1998 corvette with a Ac delco cd player...recently i went to start it for the spring ..just to discover the battery was dead..after jump starting the vehicle..the display on the stereo face read..LOC....i called G.M. and got a 6 digit code to install .my problem is i dont know how to install the code..if anyone could be of help ..it would be GREATLY appreciated...Thanks ..Kevin..

there is a procedure to unlock this radio and it is not free, but I will pass along the info i found for you.

Press and hold the preset button 2 & 3 or 1 & 4 for older radios, about 6 to 9 seconds Until the first 2 or 3 digits of the display code are displayed.
Write the numbers down.
Press the AM/FM button; write down the next 2 or 3 numbers.
