I have a Sony XBR 32" Conventional TV. Model #KV-32XBR450. After moving this TV to a new location in the house, the picture now droops slightly down on the left hand side of the screen. The TV was jarred slightly during the process of moving it.
Is correcting this issue a simple adjustment? I have tried the "rotation" feature in the Menu selection. This does not truly fix the problem...although it makes it less apparent.
The deflection yoke or the convergence correction magnet rings most likely shifted on the neck of the picture tube. This is an adjustment that cannot be made without the use of a crosshatch pattern or some sort of pattern on the screen showing horizontal and vertical lines on the sides as well as in the middle of the picture. Should not cost all that much for a tech to come in and perform this alighnment. Good Luck and let us know how you made out with this repair.
