I have a Combi Video/Dvd Player Sharps DV - NC60 which although its 5yrs old has been a good machine never giving a problem. However at Christmas time we bought a newer one and stored the Sharps away as you do "Just in case"!!. I have resurrected the player this week as I am in the process of transferring some old family videos to DVD via the computer but when I plugged in and swithched on there is not a light to be seen. I've checked the fuse in the plug and also the onboard fuse on the power board which is also ok. I know my way around most circuit boards and components ie Ham Radio & Computers, but I could do with some pointers in the right direction with this one if anybody can help.
