I have a 5 year old Toshiba 53" television that randomly turns itself off then almost immediately turns itself back on. Sometimes it might happen 2-3 times in 15 minutes but then not again for the remainder of the time it is on. Other times it may only happen once all night. It almost always happens within the first 5 minutes that the tv is on. Everything else appears to work fine and there is never a problem turing the TV on. Any ideas what might be causing this to occur?
The TV is out of warranty so I would like to know if I can fix this on my own.
