It depends on what the letters are following the model number. This could be a US model and that would mean the color mode is NTSC, and the video plyer is in PAL, therefor you will not get any color. Look at the last few pages of the instruction manual an look under specs. In the digital video it will say NTSC or PAL. Let us know how you make out with this . Good Luck.
