I have an Archos 104 MP3 player and have purchased an Electrohome 6ft. Shielded "Y" Adaptor. When connecting the red and black cables to Auxiliary 1 and turning on the player, only one speaker will work. The speaker is good, it just doesn't play music out of both of them. Any ideas?
You're using a headphone to RCA cord, correct?
The first thing I'd check is to make sure that the headphone plug on the Archos is plugged in all the way. If so, jiggle it around while you're playing back music. You may have a bum connection in the Archos or a bad cable if the other channel cuts in and out.
