ZENITH PV4667RK WONT POWER UP

Mine is a Zenith PV4667RK rear projection tv. At first you could turn
it on and it would stay on for about 30 seconds then shut off.
After enough tries it might stay on a lot longer. Now after unplugging
it for a day it wont start at all. Any ideas?

Your proble could be one or a

Your proble could be one or a combination of bad modules. The first one that I would check would be the sweep and SMPS module. This is the highest falure for this set. The next would be the Main Module. If that was not bad, check the registration module. These I have in the past seen cause the set to go on and switch right back off. The Sweep transformer has also gone bad a couple of times also. These modules and parts have high voltages on themn and is not a safe thing to be experimenting with. if you have no TV repair experience please find a tech to assist you in this repair.
