I have a Denon DM31 Micro System but the CD Player occasionally
refuses to read the Discs, this applies to New and Copied Discs
Any Ideas what I can do?
There are a number of postings here that describe the procedure to clean the CD lens. Try this first then update us.

I have already tried using a CD Lens cleaner but it hasnt made a difference
The "lens cleaners" that are available at stopres are a waste of money. You need to open up the unit anc very carefully using a Q-tip and alcohol, clean off the lens. The brush type of cleaners builtin to CDs are useless.
