this tv will come on ok and works fine for different lengths of time sometimes ten minutes sometimes half hour when it will shut down and starts to blink twice i press the ch button and it will come straight back on and works fine again for so long i know this is ocp and r618 is one suggestion but nowhere on this chassis is an r618 or a reference on the board for it allthough i have got the circuit diagram and there is an r618 on that.anyway i checked the loptr and loptx which are ok do you have any ideas on this any info appreceated
thanks for the info ive tried resoldering all around the ht and power supply but still the same.i will resolder again as it is a sony.but do you think this fault could only be dry joints or could it be something breaking down as the tv will come back on again everytime when i press the ch button or remote and i have tried tapping the circuit but that dont make it go off.any advice appreciated
