my tv has become faulty. the tv switches on but the lcd is completly white and no on screen data appears. Is the lcd screen broken or could it be something esle?
Have you tried a differant input? If you get nothing on any input, I would say your main board or the power supply has issues. Not alot end users can do with these sets . They have no user replaceable parts and are repaired most of the time to board level and not down to the componet level. In the future, please give a model number and make, as it is just easyer to help if we no what you have . My best suggestion is to call in an authorized repair shop for an estimate. good Luck, and let us know what you decided to do with this set and if you fixed it.
Sorry i put the model number number in the subject of the post, does it not show? its a panasonic tx-22lt2. So you dont think its imedietly the actually screen thats broken? as ive heard a replacement could cost as much as 600GBP. Cheers for the help so far. I am an electronics engineer myself but this isnt really my field CRT's i know but not lcd's.
