New Sony LCD TV = rubbish camcorder playback
I have a Panasonic MiniDV camcorder (not HD) which I connect to my Panasonic DVD recorder via firewire. Until recently, playback on my 'normal' tube TV was very high quality (to my eyes anyway!). I back up my footage on to DVDRam disks playback of which were also near perfect.
I have just purchased a new Sony Bravia LCD HDTV. When I playback tapes from the camcorder or DVDRam disks of old footage the quality of the image is very poor. However when I play other SD DVD's (films and personal recordings off the TV)playback is OK.
Has anyone come across this issue before?
