Can anyone tell me why, when I turn on my VCR the picture on my TV becomes too bright and washed out to watch(except for the color red). My Tv always has had a good quality picture... until I press the power button just to turn on the VCR, then goodbye colors, hello ghostly pale people... As soon as I turn the VCR off the picture and colors go back to normal.
It alkl depends on how you have the TV set connected up to the TV set, on to where the problem is inside of the VCR. if the Tv set is connected through the antenna input, the RF modulator assembly is probably bad. If the set is connected through a video input of some kind, you have a video processor circuit problem. Bottom line try a differant VCR or a DVD player and see if the problem persist.
