I am new to this forum and would like to ask if anyone has had the problem I am having. On the right side of the screen it is similiar to what we always called ghosts, but they are in colors, red and green. It started out small but now it is about 6 inches into the picture on the screen.
I want to get this fixed and was told it would cost approximately $200 for the parts and $100 for picking it up and bringing back. All I want to know is...is the price reasonable? I think the man on the phone said it sounded like a convergence converter...but I could have easily misunderstood. Your opinions on the $$$part would be greatly appreciated
AND why do they have to take it in? Everyone I called said the same..It can't be fixed in the home.
