Power Module Adapter for a P42 Vizio Plasma HDTV

 I acquired a model SP42A on EBay with a power outage problem.  So I acquired another P42 with a damaged Plasma screen but it's newer by almost two years.  The power module adapter board has all the same outputs, size for mounting, but the total amperage output is less then the original board by almost .5 AMPS.  It's a newer design, I mean completely different layout !  Should I use it?  Is the older model in need of that extra power ?  The difference....4.5 Amps VS  5.0 AMPS, and 300 WATTS total VS 330 WATTS total at white scale.
