my dvd player will not play on my tv, but when the vcr is hooked up the same way, the vcr will play fine. all inputs on the tv re-act the same way vcr-good,dvd-noothin any ideas? 1st time at this, the tv is a mitsubishi vs-5062
This is not likely to be the TV. I'm assuming that you have exchanged the cables from the VCR to the DVD and are using hte same input on the TV. Please don't be insulted, but have you verified that you are using the correct video output from the DVD player. All too often I have gotten complaints of non-working DVDs only to discover that the cables were connected to the composite video outputs rather than the yellow video output.
