My Mitsubishi tv went black, I could hear the sounds and then the tv turned blue and shuts it's self off. Any ideas to what could be wrong with the tv and how to fix it??? Thanks,
You could have a few differant things with this set to cause this problem. You could , if you have a PIP feature, a bad PIP circuit or PIP board, a problenm in the vertical sweep circuit, or a problem in the sweep power supply, or maybe a bad picture tube? These are problems that a trained tech will have the proper equipment to troubleshoot, as there are no user replaceable parts inside these TV sets. Play it safe ,as if you do not have any training serviceing TV set's, call in a pro to assist you in the repair of this set.
