I have a Pioneer HTD520. It is hooked up to a Panasonic VCR and a Durabrand 19" TV set. I have checked my connections, but can't play the video portion of a DVD, just the audio comes up. All I get, even when putting my TV on video is a blue screen. Everything else works perfectly. Can anyone help me figure this out?
Ok, wait now, Im confused. A Pioneer HTD-510 DVD Home Theater System has a DVD player built into the system. If its not working then you have a problem with the Player portion of the system. It is not something a layman or unexperienced person sould attempt to repair, as this is a very involved type of system. I would say first try to clean the lasr lens, and then after that, if it did not work, take the unit to a pro to have it diagnoised for the problem. Good Luck, and let us know how you made out.
Larry, you put the wrong model down, This is the HTD520. By the way, while I was waiting to get a reply, I tried a few more adjustments to cables and got everything to work. Perfectly, I might add. Thanks anyway.
Oh Ok but the 510 and the 520 are almost identical, But glad you got it to work. Happy new years!
