Small Specks On CRT Screen

I have a 20" Phillips flat-tube CRT SDTV with component inputs and its been excellent for the year that I've owned it. However, there are a few very small black specks that appear to be beneath the glass of the screen. They're very distracting to my meticulous eye and I was wondering what some good suggestions might be.

Would it be convenient or noob-friendly to take it apart and clean it off? Would a TV repair shop clean this up for me for a reasonable price?

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If I'm not mistaking my freind, I think these sets have a bonded front saftey glass on the front of these sets and they cannot be disassenbled.  It sounds like a bad phosfer or a small burn in the front of the screen, or some sort of organic growth behind the saftey glass.  I think, unless you want to change the CRT, you will have to live with it.  Good Luck, and please let let us know how you made out.
