I have a zenith integ model iqb6om90wa has worked fine since 01 but from repeted movings the picture got a little blurry at bottom right. Made a few phone calls to repair shops they said most likley convergence adj. The est.s were between 250-550 so I tried to adj myself have made some progress but without some stationary lines to adj to have ended up making it worse. I was told that I needed a test pattern dvd and some new advice on where to start.
I'm surprised a television from 2001 doesn't at least provide some sort of lines for adjustment, but if you need additional patterns to help you, you could try Avia or Digital Video Essentials. Both provide numerous stationary patterns that will help you converging your set. I've found Avia to be a little easier to use, but if you're fairly technical and good at interpreting test patterns, either disc will be fine.
Good luck, and let us know how it goes!
Also to add just a bit to Matt's posting, you really should get the service manual and do the convergence by the book. There could be a service menu to adjust some of these alighnments. Also in alot of TV sets, it is almost impossible to get the outer edges 100% perfect.
I've never heard of that model but if it's a rear projection big screen it will have a convergence crosshatch pattern built into the service menu. That's the only way to converge that set.
Please could you tell me where I can purchase a DVD of test patterns to enable me to set my plazma tv up correctly, as our local DVD stockist do not stock them.
I am a resident in the UK

There is a site I found with a free download with alot of differant test patterns to burn to a disc. You can find it HERE or see if this will help you. Good Luck, and let us know if this worked out for you.
To Larry Dillon, I would just to say thank you very much for your help with the test patterns, the down loads were very helpfull. With thanks from Dave Coulam
