Freeview box help needed

I have owned one for a couple of years. I have had a problem in the past that where I try to update the list of channels, and switch the box off, some of the new and existing channels are deleted, and I have to scan for new channels to get them back. But after a few days the updated list has 'saved'

A few weeks ago I did this and it has deleted a lot of radio channels including the ones I normally listen to when the box is switched off. So every time I switch on and and try to listen to my favouries I have to scan for them again and again. So it's getting increasingly annoying as the updated list will not save.

It is a Matsui DTR2

Thanks for any help in advance!

Try this first. Unplug it

Try this first. Unplug it from the mains and leave it for a while to cool down.  Plug it back in.  If that fails then you are probably going to have to buy a new box because budget boxes like Matsui are probably not worth repairing.  Alternatively try DSG (Dixons/Currys), as Matsui is one of their own brands.  If you do not own this box and are renting it, exchange the box for a new one.  Wish I had better news for you.  Good Luck and let us know how you made out.
