LCD HDTV

I just purchased an LCD HDTV for my wife.  I have Dish Network HD DVR receiver.   My TV1 is connected to my main HDTV, and would like to connect my TV2 to it.  Dish says that TV2 will only receive in Standard Def., if so will my High Def TV get a better picture.  Thank You for any comment.

Sandpuser, to answer your

Sandpuser, to answer your question, You will be able to rn the RF cable to the other TV set, if it has a tuner input, but you will not recive HDTV programming, as the model of the Dishnetwork reciver only has the capability to recive HDTV on one reciver. There are two built into this reciver. One HDTV and one Standard Definition TV (SDTV). The HDTV will work like I said but will get only SDTV picture. To get HDTV on the other set. you could simply install a barrel coupler onto one of the satallite input cables from the original reciver, to the coax cable running into the other room and purchace a seperate HDTV reciver for the other room. Or if you wanted to watch the same picure in HDTV in both rooms use a signal spitter made for HDTV. Let us know how you made out, and Good Luck
