Panasonic CT4500A problems

Good evening,

First post.  My Father has a 25 yo Panasonic Cinemavision CT4500A rear projection TV that this week started to give him problems.

He indicates that on 1/2 the screen he has what seems to be like white vertical lines within the picture.  He also indicates that he cannot adjust the convergence with the test button.  Cannot get some of the lines to get together.

Any tips?
