Not really in consumer electronics tolerance is not that important. Just dont use less then a 10% tolerance
See tolerance is importante because i had intalled a 220ohms 5% before you gave advice.
If you had of installed a 20% tolerance, depending on the circuit, it probably would not care. And just because you installed a 5%, what does that mean? LOL You need mostly the right value my freind. Read the link I sent, it will teach you alot.
