This may be me just being incredibly thick but I can not figure this out.
I have a sony dvd rdr-gx120 and I have Sky TV (Satellite digital TV) hooked up to the DVD recorder and my ariel for normal TV also into my DVD recorder.
I can record both Sky and normal television fine. I can also record Sky and watch normal (analogue) television by simply pressing the AV button.
But if I am recording a program on normal TV i.e. recording from the ariel, I am not able to watch sky and change the channels on sky. The only way I can think to do this is by disconnecting the sky scart and plugging it directly into the tv instead of the DVD recorder.
In short I want to watch record programs from terrestrial (analogue) television whilst I watch Sky TV.
The sony manual is rubbish! Please help.
