I haved a 61 inch toshiba big screen and my remote doesn't get signal to the t.v. anymore. they told me thats what the problem could be. i cant find the remote senor does anyone no where the remote senor is at.
Its a smoked plastic front, so you wont see where the sensor is, so look behind it, but if you still do not find it,and ifs its a tube type projection or a micro display projection, sometimes on some sets, they mount the sensor inside the reflection area. Differant manufacturers mount them in differant places as all you need to do is point the remote at that big screen and ir signal bounces all over inside , where all the mirrors are. Sometimes its mounted above or below the green tube. Sometimes down by the final reflector. But if it is not in the front as Martt said, then you will need to look where I told you. Good luck, and please let us know how you made out.
Depending on the make and model of the TV, the sensor is typically mounted in the front panel of the TV, or behind the actual screen.
Ok because in front theres no sign of it on the panel i'll try behind it thanks.
