Im really not sure what your discribing, Please be a little more detailed in your disciption. Is there a spot of pinkish in the corner when you do not cover the red? is the pinkisk there all the time. Why are you covering the red? Is it a 3 d effect your talking about?
sorry without doing anything there are pinkish colors in the corner and kinda of looks like i dont know a pink with a green shadow but if i cover the green the red and blue align fine
i hope that is a better idea of what is going on PS someone told it may be convergence?
Oh so it looks almost like the colors are out of alighnment? Kind of like a 3 d effect? Should have figured! This sounds like the typical convergence fault that happens on almost every tube type projection set ever made. There are two STK types of large stand up IC's that are mounted on a large metal heat sink that has to be replace. These are not replaceable by the user, unless you have electronics serviceing know how and know how to solder. there could also be a few small resistors that go bad as well with these IC's. If you have no solid state TV repair experience, Please play it safe and call in a pro to assist you with this repair. Good Luck, and please let us know how you made out.
