hi ive just bought a hitachi plasma 42PD8700 u. I connected my tv switched it on. playing around just to get to no it!!! then my volume went of! turning the tv on & of! volume comes on for a couple of seconds then goes agan. please help...

Check the audio menu and make sure your not on the SAP(Second Audio Program) mode. If that does not help I would be on the phone with where ever you got it. let us know how you made out, and Good Luck
