Hi, I've inherited my mother's old tv, without a manual, and can't work out how to tune my video to it. Any ideas? I'd be very grateful as it's driving me mad!
Terry, I do not see this model number. Is this a US model? If it is your missing some parts of the model. If it is a US model, go HERE go get a free download of the user manual. Please let us know how you made out. Good Luck.
Many thanks for your interest. This is a uk product. I tried the link, but couldn't see it listed. Got the model number off the back of the telly. Cheers
I left an Email for Toshiba at the UK site, so I will get back with you If I hear from them. By the way what are you trying to hook up and what is the problem your encountering?
Terry heres what they wrote back to me as this set is old.
Many thanks for your enquiry, in response to your query please contact

Hi Larry,
Many, many thanks for your help, really fantastic!
I'm trying to connect an Hitachi 6 month old video player to the Toshiba, but when I press the tv channel that used to be for a video player it is obviously not tuned in to the video. I think the tv need to be tuned into the video, not the video into the tv, as the video already has the various tv stations already in there.
Hi Larry, I do have a book for the tv, but am I right in thinking I have to tune the tv to the video, not the video to the tv? I'm going to phone the number you kindly left as soon as I'm sure of which tunes into what. Many thanks.
The output of the VCR should have an RF jack. Next to these types of outputs, most of the time, theres a small screw to tune the VCR to a UHF channel. If you have the manual for the VCR, look in it and see if it describes how to hook and tune it to the TV set. if you do not have one , whats the model number of the VCR as maybe we can find one for you, MAYBE. It is possible that the VCR does need to be tuned to the TV set but I wont know that till we look at the VCR operations and hookup info. Does the book for the TV set explain how to hook up a VCR? Is there video inputs on the TV set?
Just sorted it out! A friend referred me to a local small trader who sold the Toshiba range, and he told me to press the little oblong shape on the handset, then press volume up and you enter tuning. All done and dusted.
Many thanks for your interest and help.
