I'm in the market for some B speakers for my kitchen (so I can go to the fridge and not miss the action) and on a budget. I hear Boston Acoustics is supposed to be decent but these Boston Acoustics MR80SSII are marked down to $30ea.
Are they a great deal, or utter garbage? I've done some Googling but haven't found a wit of info.

whats the link to these? These are if they are the brand you say nice speakers, but sometimes peeps will use aftermarket speakers and put a differant label on them.

If these are not intended for primary listening, and only to not miss the action while running to the kitchen, I'd argue that the sound quality of the speaker isn't much of an issue. I've never listed to these particular Boston Speakers, so I can't give any say one way or the other, but I'd be willing to argue they'd be good enough to suit your needs.
