My wife took 2 butter knives to the VCR/DVD player. She said the DVD wouldn't eject. She got it to eject wether it wanted to or not. I found the plastic gear on the motor that drives the deck in and out had come off. I put it back on, now I see the gear slipping on the motor shaft. How can I secure this little plastic gear to the motor shaft?
No not crazy just someone trying to save a drowning bird? LOL Its not worth the money unless you have the know how to replace the motor along with the NYLON gear drive assy. Time to look into a new Christmas gift? Good luck
