i have an RCA-proscan 35"---ps35153. it worked fine until i lost power to my home. when the power was restored i tried to turn on the tv and got nothing. could there be a fuse in the tv that could have blown when the power was restored?

Yes you need replace a new
Yes you need replace a new fuse(5amp) located at right corner just power cord come in.. so take care be sure the cord unpluged from ac outlet.. before replace it ..good luck
