Please, please post make and model numbers when you as a question. There are often common problems with certain models that we would recognize and would help us to provide more detailed help.
When a CD stops reading a disc, there can be many causes. Other threads here describe the method of cleaning the lens etc. Search the site for those and follow the guidelines. If oyu have further problems, please do not hesitate to update this. (with the machine details!!)
I'm going to guess from the model number that this is a philips unit. Try and clean the lens. If that doesn't work, than the optics need to be replaced. If this is a philips unit, the cost of hte optics will exceed replacement cost. Keep up posted. Dan

The model is fw 365 c it is a smaller unit with am fm casette also
