my 21 inch magnavox turned on in the middle of the night, This set is 2 months old have had no trouble before this. Just wondering if something is going bad while it is still in warrenty. thanks charlie32
Yes Charlie32, most likly the remote sensor will cause this problem. Its time to call in the service folks who handle your brand of TV set. I have seen this make of set have this problem at least 20 or so times. Good Luck, and please let us know how you made out.
The tv started turning on when the room the tv was in was cold, the temp. in the room was about 55 to 60 degrees. and this only happened when the weather turned cold, could the cold room cause this problem.Thanks

Naww I doubt it.. Although I forget to tell you before you call anyone take out the batteries to the remote and see if that has any effect.

Just take out the batteries when the problems arise and see if they stop.
