I have a panasonic tv model # CT27G4A which has been operating excellently since purchase in July 1999 and is now losing its picture. Sound and operations of the tv are fine but the picture comes and goes. Sometimes it will stay for quite a while and other times it just stays off. When it is on, the picture is perfect. Can you tell me what may be wrong?
It sounds like you have an intermittant vertical problem. The vert IC needs to be resoldered to the pc board. Try hitting the tv in different areas and see if the picture comes back. Also crt circuit boards get bad solder connections on the filament pins of the crt.
