I have a freeview box [philips]but just recently while watching it, the tv[beko] reverts momentarly back to the ordinary terrestrial channel then back to digital can anyone explain how to stop this thanks in advance!
It sounds like you have a weak signal. I have heard of this problem before. Did you get a new areial when you got the freeveiw? Did you install it or the companey. If they did it have them check the signal and the antenna again. If its your box and you installed it, you will need to check all of your connectors for loose connections as well the aiming of the antenna. Good Luck, and please let us know how you made out.
ive had ondigital box for years no probs nothing changed regarding arial funny thing is that it seems to revert to analogue only during adverts on terrestrial channel even when i'm on digital this is very often as you must know ?? help..ps all scart leads are secure
Like I stated, if the grounds on the wires where loose or shotty, that would let the strong RF signals get into the wire or the set, Also try changeing the channel setting output on the freeview box to another chanel on the TV set. As it sounds like a leakage problem with a stronger RF signal to the TV set.
Well good. Thats what I thought also after va few times of thinking about it. Was just an extra strong regular signal trying to come into the digital signal.
