Now I am new to this site, so please tell me if this is posted in the wrong spot!
At the moment I am having a bit of trouble with a camcorder. It's fairly old, a Sony 220x. Currently it is attched to the VCR, and when the camcorder is on, you can see the picture on the TV. (We use this to record a public speaking course, so the participants have some sort of idea of what they look like.)
Then you press record on the VCR and it records straight onto the VHS tape.
Now this is a perfect set up BUT every 2 or 3 mins or so, the camcorder goes into standby mode, and you can't see the picture on the TV screen anymore - this prevents filiming for more than a few mins before it is disrupted.
For some reason, I cannot get it to stop doing this. Does anyone have any ideas why this happens?
