I Recently purchased a Panasonic DMR-ES46V DVD/VHS Recorder.
It works fine except when Irecord on to the DVD or the VHS recorders,
the TV Tunner shuts down. I can not watch a TV program While
dubbing frome VHS to DVD.
My TV is a Sony Trinitron Color TV KV32V16
Is there some setting I need to make to allow the TV to play while dubbing.

If you are recording from a vHS to a DVD, this is normal for the tuner to shut off on the recorder as it is switching the recorder sourse from tuner to VHS. You can though use the VCR/DVD-TV switch to TV and use the tv sets tuner.
