without a model number we

without a model number we would only be guessing.  You can look up the model number on the manufacturers web site or leave it here and we will assist you.

Coltsdude, the TV is not HD

Coltsdude, the TV is not HD capable (not a digital television).

IWantHTDV:  I have 2 "standard" TVs (Sony Wega and a Panasonic Tau) that have the Component inputs ("Red, Blue and Green Jacks")...neither are HD or Digital capable (ie. won't handle Progressive scanning from DVD, etc).  Granted I can hook up an ATSC tuner STB to it, however the TV won't display HD content (only standard 480i broadcasts).
