I have a 26" Samsung LCD Tv...i believe the model number is LNR268W. Anytime i go to watch a DVD thats a widescreen the bars remain no matter what. When i put the TV in Widescreen mode it just stretches the picture out, and the bars remain. (So its like the DVD player still thinks its in the TV 4:3 format)
The DVD player is hooked up through an S video connection. I'm thinking the problem maybe the DVD player. Its a cheap APEX not sure what the model # is (I'm at work so i'm trying to go off memory).
If anyone can confirm that this could be the problem or might know what the problem is I would appreciate the help. Also if you need more information i will do the best i can to give you what you would need.
